5 Delicious Zucchini Bread Recipes

Zucchini is an often overlooked vegetable, but this summer squash contains a number of health benefits that might just make it a super food of sorts.

Not only is zucchini packed full of water, it’s also very low in calories, at only 17 calories per 100 grams. It has no saturated fats or cholesterol of any kind, and the peel of a zucchini is actually very high in fiber. Fiber has been shown to keep you full, ward off hunger pangs, and improve digestive health.

Zucchinis also contain a decent dose of antioxidants, folates, and other plant-based compounds that support overall health and well-being. Potassium is one of the ingredients that this vegetable is particularly high in, offering a good source of energy and reducing your blood pressure.

All of these ingredients will not only support a healthy lifestyle, they’ll also boost your metabolism and help you burn off a few extra calories during digestion. So they’re a great item to include in your diet. Today, I’m offering 5 simple but delicious zucchini bread recipes.
